Warranty conditions

Statutory guarantee

Any item offered by I/M Hardware House comes with a statutory warranty of 2 years.

Within the scope of the statutory warranty, if the item is found to be defective, the client has the right to request the item to be repaired or replaced free of charge (first order rights), price reduction or withdrawal from the contract (second order rights).

Repair and replacement of goods are the primary rights of the consumer. The customer has the right to request the seller to repair or replace the goods free of charge, unless this is impossible due to the nature of the goods or requires a disproportionate or inappropriately high cost.

The goods must be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time, so that the customer does not face a significant delay, taking into account the nature of the goods and the purpose for which he purchased the goods.

The burden of proving the existence of an initial defect in the item is borne by the company within 6 months after the delivery of the item, and after the expiration of this period - by the client.

In the event that the characteristics of the item do not correspond to the data specified in the online store, the item has an initial defect or the item is damaged during transportation, the company will ensure the return of the products with its resources.

In order to receive warranty service, the user is obliged to hand over the item to the seller's representative.

In order to receive warranty service, it is necessary to follow the operating rules developed by the manufacturer in accordance with the attached instructions.

Within the terms of the warranty, the period for repairing the item is defined as a maximum of 30 calendar days.

 

 

Warranty service is not performed if:

  • The warranty period has expired.
  • The customer cannot present the warranty card and the item cannot otherwise be identified.
  • The serial number / IMEI code is not readable or engraved on the warranty card or device case, and it is otherwise impossible to identify the item.
  • The wear is caused by the user's mechanical impact on the item. 
  • The noise is caused by damage to the seal/seal movement.
  • Complaints are caused by arbitrary disassembly and assembly of the item by the user. 
  • The damage is caused by a computer virus or inappropriate files. 
  • Damage is caused by foreign objects or liquid entering the mechanism. 
  • The damage is caused by a malfunction of the electrical network (voltage fluctuation), dampness, corrosion, high or low temperature, violation of the rules of operation and storage.

The user is obliged to inspect the item upon delivery and to confirm by signing that it has no visual defects.

 

 

Unconditional return policy for goods or services

 

According to Article 13 of the Law of Georgia "On the Protection of Consumer Rights", except for the exceptions established by Article 14 of the same law, the user has the right to refuse a distance contract and/or an off-site contract within 14 calendar days without specifying any reason.

This term is counted as:

  • in the case of a service contract - from the conclusion of the contract;
  • In the case of a purchase agreement - from the receipt of the goods by the customer or a third party designated by him (except the carrier);
  • In the case of partial ordering of goods by the user - from the moment the last item is taken into possession by the user or a third party specified by him (except the carrier);
  • In the case of a contract for the delivery of goods on a regular basis (with defined periodicity) - from the first time the customer or a third party designated by him (except the carrier) takes possession of the item.

 

 

Return conditionsThe customer has the right to submit a request for return of the purchased item within 14 calendar days after receiving the item. The term is counted from the moment the item is handed over to the customer. With the expiration of this period, the customer loses the right to request the return of the item. In order to take advantage of the mentioned request, the user is obliged to fill out the item return form (see on our website) and send it to the following e-mail: info@techome.ge

In case of refusal of the contract, the user is obliged to:

  • to return the goods to the merchant or to a third party designated by him immediately after sending the notice of withdrawal from the contract, but no later than 7 calendar days;
  • to pay the direct (immediate) cost associated with the return of the goods.
  • The customer is obliged to return the item in full with all the attached documents.

The trader is obliged to return the amount paid to the customer within 14 calendar days after receiving the notification of return of the item. The merchant has the right to refuse to issue a refund until the goods have been returned or the customer has received proof of shipment of the goods, whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be made using the same means of payment that the user used, unless the user agrees to use another means of payment.

Rejection of the remote contract by the user automatically results in his exit from the related contract and restoration of the original state.

As a result of the refusal of the contract, the obligations assumed by the parties under the distance contract are nullified, and what the parties received by performing it is returned to them. Exception related to withdrawal from the contract without giving any reason

The customer has no right to refuse the goods or services whose price does not exceed 30 GEL.

The merchant may, with the consent of the consumer, replace the product with the consumer instead of refunding the money.
